The opportunity
Good concrete starts with a ready crew.
You’ll work alongside Method’s form setters, finishers and field leaders on structural and site concrete. This is hands-on work: preparing areas for placement, moving materials, helping during pours and leaving the site ready for the next operation. Previous concrete experience is helpful; dependable people ready to learn are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do
- Stage tools and materials, prepare work areas and keep access routes clear before concrete arrives.
- Help with subgrade preparation, forms, reinforcing accessories and placement setup under the foreman’s direction.
- Move and distribute fresh concrete, assist the finishing crew and help protect completed work.
- Strip and organize forms when directed; clean tools and handle concrete washout in designated areas.
- Work safely around trucks, pumps and equipment. Follow crew signals, use required protective equipment and report hazards promptly.
What you bring
- Reliable attendance, a dependable way to reach assigned jobsites and readiness for scheduled early starts.
- Ability to follow directions, communicate with the crew and ask when an instruction is unclear.
- Willingness to learn safe tool use and complete the essential physical tasks of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
A plus, not a requirement
- Previous construction, concrete, landscaping or other hands-on outdoor work.
On the jobsite
These are active outdoor jobsites in the Phoenix area, with heat, sun, noise, dust and moving equipment. Work involves standing, bending, kneeling, uneven ground and handling tools or materials as the task requires. Follow site safety and heat precautions, use required protective equipment and ask for assistance when needed. Start times follow the pour schedule; early starts and occasional overtime or weekends may be needed.
The essential duties can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
